Glimpflich verlief ein Lawinenabgang in Steeg. Die Fahrgäste wurden aufgeschreckt, verletzt wurde aber niemand.
STEEG (rei). "So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt!" Martin Lang ist seit vielen Jahren als Busfahrer für die Post unterwegs. Tausende Kilometer spult er jedes Jahr herunter. Da erlebt man dann schon einiges. Dass man aber von einem Moment auf den anderen von einer Staublawine "verschluckt" wird, war auch für Lang ein einzigartiges Erlebnis.
"Plötzlich war es dunkel!"
Vergangene Woche am Dienstag war Lang mit dem Bus in Richtung Warth unterwegs. Eine ganz normale Fahrt. Über weite Strecken zumindest. Dann war nichts mehr wie immer. "Der Bus war plötzlich umnebelt. Es ist dunkel geworden. Man hat nichts mehr gesehen", erzählt Lang den Bezirksblättern. Eine Staublawine war vom Pimig abgegangen.
Der Postbusfahrer hatte die Lawinen zunächst nicht bemerkt und war unverdrossen die Lechtalstraße entlanggefahren. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt sahen Fahrgäste aus den Seitenfenstern die Schneemassen aber schon herandonnern.
Als der Busfahrer die Lawine entdeckte, war der Bus auch schon mitten in eben dieser. "Ich konnte den Bus nur sicher zum Stillstand bringen und musste warten", erklärt Lang.
Unruhe machte sich breit
Unter den Fahrgästen habe sich schon eine gewisse Unruhe ausgebreitet, von Panik will Lang nicht sprechen. Bald legte sich der Nebel aus Schnee. Auf der Straße war dieser dann kein echtes Hindernis. Größere Schneemassen, die mit der Lawinen den Berg herabkamen, legten sich auf der anderen Talseite noch vor dem Lech ab. Der in der Wolke enthaltene Schnee war eher gering. Nach einem kurzen Check konnte die Fahrt fortgesetzt werden.
Ein Blick auf die Berge
Dass vom Pimig Lawinen abgehen, ist nicht ungewöhnlich. Dass ein Bus, oder auch andere Fahrzeuge plötzlich in diese Situation kommen, dann eher doch. Martin Lang zieht aus dem Vorfall eine Konsequenz: Er will künftig, wenn viel Schnee auf den Bergen liegt, seinen Blick nicht nur auf die Straße richten sondern da und dort auch einmal einen "gachen Blick" auf die umliegende Bergwelt richten. Sicher ist sicher.
